Driftstone Jig Hooks 50pk
Hooks and beads are the most expensive material in your flies. After bringing the best beads your money could buy, I wanted to do the same with hooks. These hooks are sharp and strong. I’ve been fishing with these for a year now and they’re holding up great. They stay sharp after getting eaten and I haven’t bent one out.
I’ve used heavy high carbon steel wire that has the right balance of strength and flexibility. If the wrong steel is used, they can be brittle and easy to break. If they’re too soft they’ll bend out with out much force. These right that line perfectly. They’re barbless so you don’t have to pinch them down and have an inferior hook point. The points are slightly upturned which wedges in the fishes upper jaw, so it holds tight when you keep pressure on and will fall out easily in the net. Perfect for catch and release.
They’re also a great value. Sold in 50 packs, it’s easy to tie up enough bugs to fill your box.
